Lidköping’s continued focus on the service market

More Service technicians in Germany, China and Sweden

We are proud to announce that we have expanded the numbers of professional service technicians, giving us the opportunity to support your needs in an even more flexible way.

Since end of 2002 Mr. Volker Schänzel, Germany, is working for LIDKÖPING as a service technician for the German speaking market. In Shanghai, China LIDKÖPING has employed two new service technicians, Mr. Xu Tianbing and Mr. Jeff Luo Ying, starting beginning of March 2003.

Finally, we have expanded the team of electronic specialist in LIDKÖPING with Mr. Kjell-Ove Johansson, experienced in both Siemens and MTC control systems. Higher capacity for Spindle repairs

LIDKÖPING has designed and produced our own spindles for decades. In addition to producing and servicing our own spindles we have now expanded the capacity for spindle services further and are today also able to offer you repairs of GMN-spindles and other manufacturers spindles. We offer you:
- Fast reaction and flexible organization with short lead times
- High quality precision repairs of many types of spindles
- Opportunities of customer adapted spindle exchange programs

New Service Manager

After a number of very satisfying years together with you and the Lidköping Team, I have decided to accept a new challenge in the DaimlerChrysler group and will end my position at Lidköping Machine Tools AB in the middle of April 2003.

A new Service manager has been appointed, Mr. Otto Jernström, a Lidköping Sales Key account manager with many years of experience within both the service areas as well as the machine sales area. Otto Jernström will take over the position during the second half of 2003, in the mean time our Managing Director Johan Westberg will be directly responsible for the business unit Service Market.
