KMT UVA Chucks

KMT UVA has a broad selection of proprietary chuck designs for all types of applications. All chucks are especially designed for high precision and high volume grinding. They are pneumatically operated, using air to open the chuck and spring load for closing. Therefore the loss of air pressure has no effect on the clamping force - an important safety feature.

For all types of KMT UVA chucks there are a few standardized chuck body designs in different sizes to suit the application and machine model. But parts dependent on the work-piece, such as chuck jaws, diaphragms, collets and clamping fingers are custom designed.
